EMD FP-7 All Metal Diesels
Model Power EMD FP-7 line-up
This loco will be all metal and feature a dual flywheel drive! The EMD FP-7 has never before been available in N-Scale. (Arnold/Rapido did offer an EMD FP-9). While the EMD F-7 was a designed for freight service, the slightly longer EMD FP-7 with steam generator added was primarily a passenger loco. Toward the end, however, many roads did press these locos into freight service after the start of Amtrak left many on the roster with no "varnish" to pull. Thus these ended up being dual-service diesels
