Hebert
Matter's B&M logo was an integral component of
the patriotic red, white, and blue color scheme applied to
EMD GP 38-2 number 212, which was renumbered 200 in honor
of America's Bi-Centennial celebration. This unique locomotive
was photographed at the Rigby engine terminal in South Portland,
Maine on March 23, 1975. NSC commissioned Atlas to produce
this limited edition offering in N scale.

Experimental Paint Schemes Set |
The Boston
& Maine decorated several of their 40' Boxcars in experimental
schemes so the Board of Directors would have actual prototypes
to see and select a future scheme from. These attractive
cars were not selected and remained one-of-a-kind specimens.
