Haven Special Run McGinnis Set |
New
Haven McGinnis New Image Paint Schemes 4 Pack Set.
In an effort to draw attention to the railroad, the New Haven hired noted graphic
designer Herbert Matter. He produced some of the most distinctive NH "McGinnis"
cars to ride the rails. The above 4 paint schemes were actual Matter designs "on
hold
for
future
use"
pending the arrival of additional rolling stock ... which due to the New Haven's
weak financial position never materialized. They are so very attractive that
the N Scale Collector commissioned Micro-Trains to produce this limited edition
set so N Scale New Haven fans can enjoy them on their layouts.
