This
all new offering is a joint effort of deLuxe Innovations
and GHQ Contrary to most model railroaders beliefs, 53'6"
was the "standard" length for flat cars in the
transition era. Since so many loads were actually 50' long,
the extra 3'6" allowed the load to be blocked and tied
down. This car is cast in metal (it outweights most N scale
box cars!) -- as a result it offers superior tracking/performance
even when not loaded due to the low center of gravity. Comes
with optional brakewheel. These are very limited run offerings,
each car is numbered. (i.e. 25 of 250).
