Fox Valley Models introduces yet another new and unique boxcar to N Scale - the Pullman Standard built Canstock Boxcar. This signature car was the result of a development program designed to improve the transport of coiled steel used to make cans. Conventional boxcars could only cary 6 coils of steel without trapping the forklift inside. With offset doors on this car, the last 2 coils can be loaded straight in without turning the forklife inside the car -- effectively making the capacity 8 rolls instead of 6.
The new Fox Valley model features all new tooling with crisp detail including different roof panels and doors depending on the era. They are decorated with sharp lettering and include knuckle couplers, photo etched end walk ways and FVM metal wheels. Now in stock!
