The sample
wheelsets illustrated above were made to show the wheels
and axles in detail. The finished wheels have all
wheels blackened. These wheels set a new standard
of excellence in N scale. You can easily select what you need from the table
below. They are available to fit most N scale applications. They track extremely
well, add weight to your rolling stock where it is
needed most -- close to the tracks. At the bottom of
this page, we have included additional technical
information
regarding
these wheels.

Brass Semi Scale Fine Tread 33" Wheelsets |
| The
33" wheelsets are used in most freight car applications.
Wheels are 33" in size and the axle length varies
to fit the "spread" of different manufacturer's
truck sideframes. We suggest
a sampler pack so
you'll have on hand some of all the wheels. Experiment,
find what works best ... then you can come back and buy
the 100 economy packs when you know exactly what you need. |

Brass Semi Scale Fine Tread 36" Wheelsets |
| The
36" wheelsets are used in larger/heavier freight cars
and most passenger cars. For example most of the modern
covered hoppers would ride on 36" wheels. These are
36" wheels, in size and the axle length varies to
fit the "spread" of different manufacturer's
truck sideframes. We suggest a sampler pack at a special
money savings price so you can experiment with "odd-ball" pieces
of rolling stock you might have ... then you can come back
a buy the money-savings 100 packs when you know exactly
what you need. |

Brass 28" Wheelsets  |
| The
new 28" wheelsets are the latest addition to the FVM
wheel line-up. These are 28" wheels, often used on lightweight
equipment ... and are available in 2 axle widths. Wheels
are 28" in
size and the axle length varies to fit the "spread" of
different manufacturer's truck sideframes. The 2801 axles
are .540" axles and are recommended for Micro-Trains and
Athearn applications. The 2802 are .553" axles and are
suggested for Atlas, Con-Cor and InterMountain. |
